After reading various bugs, here is my understanding of the problem of the disappearing icon on lock/unlock when using Gnome AppIndicator plugin.įrom what I get, Chromium doesn't re-register the tray after the StatusNotifierWatcher disappears/reappears from the d-bus session on lock/unlock, while it probably should. Restart Windows Explorer to reload it and restore the missing system tray or icons on your computer.
